Description
A Total Access Plan is an inventory of the trail and road network in interface and natural areas. The objective of this plan is to pre-plan access to natural areas for the purposes of fire suppression and identify areas with insufficient access. This plan should have a spatial data and/ or mapping component as well, for internal use as well as to share with BCWS or other fire suppression personnel.
Some access planning information was previously compiled but not formalized. The Total Access Plan could be developed in the process of completing the wildfire incident pre-plan. Information regarding new developments completed in the past few years should be incorporated into this update.
