N3.4Invest in relevant data sets to give a better picture of key environmental indicators (e.g. LiDAR).

Ongoing data updates are critical for identifying changes to ecosystem services such as shade from tree canopy.

Citywide LiDAR was acquired in 2023 and permitted the analysis of baseline tree canopy coverage. It is expected that LiDAR/tree canopy analysis will occur every 3-5 years.

The 2021 Sensitive Ecosystem Inventory (SEI) was completed in 2024.
