The City provides essential services to the community, including water supply, potable water and wastewater treatment, road and traffic maintenance, solid waste disposal (in partnership with the RDCO), fire prevention, and recreational and cultural programs. The infrastructure supporting these services plays a key role in maintaining the economy and serves as the initial line of defense against disruptions, such as wildfires. As a result, it is necessary to ensure that this infrastructure meets appropriate FireSmart standards.
